  Don and his wife Doreen (of 40 years) are the proud parents of 4 adult children.  

Don Gordon is Pastor of Faith Christian Church of Chicago Heights, Illinois and Executive Director of To Equip His People. Don takes his ministry cue from Ephesians 4:12 “to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” As a result, Don’s ministry focuses on empowering God’s people to enjoy an authentic intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, teaching & ministry training and healing of emotional wounds and trauma. Don enjoys ministry in the local church setting, conference speaking, individual counseling, facilitating Trauma Healing Groups and serving as a Trauma Healing Institute  Master Facilitator. Don is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.A.R/Urban Ministry) and Eastern Illinois University, (B.A. Sociology). 

Doreen Gordon serves the Lord as Don’s life partner and ministry partner. Doreen is the facilitator of the Praying For Progeny Ministry.  Her biggest delight is to see others grow in their relationship with God.  She has ministered in various capacities including  Bible teacher, worship leader and women's ministry coordinator.  She also facilitates healing groups and trains healing group facilitators and is a  Master Facilitator with the Trauma Healing Institute.  Doreen is a graduate of Northwestern University (B.A. Economics).
