According to the Trauma Healing Institute, Trauma is "a deep wound of the heart and mind that takes a long time to heal. It hurts every part of us: our relationships, our bodies, our thoughts, and our faith." They add that "some experiences in life are so painful, they cause deep and lasting suffering. That suffering is what we call 'trauma'.”

We utilize the curriculum of the Trauma Healing Institute published by The American Bible Society. This curriculum is currently being used successfully being used in over 120 countries and available in over 150 different languages. We facilitate this biblical-based curriculum in a safe environment in small groups. Some topics covered include How Heart Wounds Can Be Healed, Grieving, Forgiveness, and How to Take Your Pain to the Cross. We also equip churches by training and mentoring Trauma Healing Group Facilitators to serve in the local church and community.
Healing the Wounds of Generational Trauma: The Black & White Experience explores generational trauma and how it affects our lives today. Participants look at historical factors that have impacted America and trace our own experience against that background. It helps participants to unlock traumatic patterns that are passed down through the generations, provides tools to begin interrupting those patterns, and sets the foundation for racial healing between White and Black Americans.
